Sondra D.
McCurry, President has over 15 years experience in organizational
effectiveness, program development, cultural competence and program
management in the nonprofit sector.
Ms. McCurry has worked with funders, government, health and human
services agencies, as well as community wide collaborations and change
initiatives. Sondra McCurry & Associates specializes in organizational
effectiveness consulting with a focus on bringing leadership and staff
together to build strong teams that build stronger, sustainable
organizations to increase your effectiveness in carrying out your
mission.
We design and lead organizational effectiveness interventions working
with non profit organizations and the corporate sector in achieving long
lasting sustainability. This is accomplished by developing and
facilitating processes and methodologies that support your organization
in achieving its goals and initiatives.
Sondra McCurry & Associates has a network of associates that bring a
diverse background in organizational effectiveness, each having 15 plus
years of experience in government, non profit, corporate, health and
social services.
Sondra McCurry brings experience as an internal consultant managing
large systems capacity building projects working with senior and middle
management of state and county departments of human and social services
across the country in the implementation of welfare reform.
Ms. McCurry also implemented a cultural competence initiative during her
tenure with Healthy Family/Healthy Start, working with service providers
across health care systems to incorporate cultural factors into service
delivery to increase access to care for pregnant and parenting women.

Her certifications include co-counseling, mediation and Gestalt Systems Development. She is the President of the Cleveland area Organization Development Connection (O.D. Connection or ODC) for 2006-2008.
Ms. McCurry holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina and an MS in Organizational Development and Analysis from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management.
